Chocolate White Chip Cookies

As you probably can tell, I recently realized that chocolate cookies + chocolate chips = more chocolate.  And you've known that I'm a major chocoholic from the title of this post, so here goes another recipe that you can find at Very Best Baking:

Chocolate White Chip Cookies
REQUIRES SOFTENED BUTTER

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups (12 oz. package) white chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in small/medium bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter with sugars and vanilla until creamy.  Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing thoroughly.  Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by large cookie scoop or rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 9 minutes.  Cool on sheets for 2 minutes, then remove to a wire rack.  Makes 60 cookies.
